If they will prove to be successful, I can imagine also other brands entering the field , like Samsung (that until some years ago was interested in hybrid headsets) or some Chinese brands like Shadow Creator. Microsoft has already a valuable AR product. AR games and experiences.

This trend will continue in 2021 : the new LiDAR sensor, which is rumored to be installed in all future iPhones, will for sure be copied also by Android phones (Samsung?) Didn’t work (Image by Microsoft). Magic Leap will meet its fate. Duck Face, Magic Leap One, and me. What about Magic Leap ?

Representatives of the JianXi province and also the vice prime minister Liu He have visited the venue, and the Chinese Government has confirmed its strong interest in VR, that is seen as a strategic technology. And while China always moves chaotically, I think that the push of the government is helping its VR companies.
