They both serve a similar purpose, that is blending the virtual and the real : if wearing a Varjo XR-1 headset you go to a greenscreen room, you will see the virtual world in the places where there is the green color and the real one in the other parts of your view. Apart from the hardware, Somnium is moving well also on the software side: the graphics of the virtual world is improving over time, and soon will be released the first game built on top of Somnium. Everything they have announced is realistic , and it gives the company the impression of being reliable. I like this approach.
