Meta has announced a massive immersive partnership with 15 universities across the US, ringing in the new academic year. These institutions, currently actively engaging in immersive learning, are hosting classes in virtual reality (VR) to determine the efficacy of XR technologies in the educational curriculum.

Other universities such as Arizona State University, New Mexico State University, Purdue Global, University of Iowa, and many more have entered strategic partnerships for the programme. Doing so will allow universities and institutions to drive growth for the XR industry with detailed use cases.
