If the headset does work on the other PC (like in my case), then there is some software problem with SteamVR. Otherwise, contact HTC support to have your Vive fixed (good luck with that). The system will guide you in updating the firmware if any new firmware is available; How to update the firmware on your HTC Vive devices.
