This way you can exclude some hardware failure. In my case, the controllers weren’t detected in any app, not even in Unity when developing for VR. This confirmed that I had some problems with SteamVR installation and was not a matter of hardware. Razer Synapse. If then everything works, you’re fine.

It seems to me a great piece of hardware. Of course, Epic is completely against Apple and its vision of its own walled garden. The new mixed reality headset is expected to perform a bit like the Apple Watch: very slow sales in the beginning, to then increase them a lot at every iteration.

This week has been pretty crazy: It all started with Facebook approving my silly The Unity Cube application (an application with just a cube) on App Lab. HTC is teasing a new piece of hardware again, and this time most probably it will be a VR headset. Epson and Razer present new smartglasses. Top news of the week. I can’t wait.

I’m sure that after April, 20th, the Meta Quest ecosystem will appear even richer than it is now , creating a wider gap with other companies that may think about competing with the Quest, that is Pico, HTC, and even Apple. Unity talked about PlayStation VR 2 at GDC. Unity had a talk about developing for PlayStation VR 2 at GDC 2022.
