Apple's movie store now lists 3D support on some titles. When introducing Vision Pro at the WWDC event in June, Apple confirmed that its visionOS will support playing 3D versions of movies on a giant virtual screen. Example of a title with '3D' support listed for Vision Pro on Apple TV. Bigscreen is also available on SteamVR.

The Facebook team articulated a distinction between lightweight AR, requiring only your smartphone and available today, and ‘full AR,’ requiring a head mounted display, such as AR glasses.
