Apart from this, we had a few important announcements, like for instance: GTA San Andreas coming to Quest 2 Project Cambria : a hybrid AR/VR headset arriving next year. Even if Google is quite silent about AR and VR lately , the company is still into immersive technologies. Ultraleap releases Gemini hands-tracking runtime.

Lenses seem an evolution of the ones mounted on the Vive headsets and that are not very appreciated by us users, but we can bet that will be anyway Fresnels of Fresnel hybrids because at the moment they are still the best alternative on the market. The rightmost ones are clearly bigger.

In particular, it envisions: XR headsets (especially AR ones) being tethered to the smartphone now; XR headsets wirelessly connected to the smartphone (via Wi-fi or similar technologies) in 1–4 years; Fully standalone lightweight XR headsets, connected via 5G, in 5–10 years. This was a very good thing and attracted many people to Magic Leap.
