And Quest 2 is much cheaper (especially now that has been put at $199): during the last holidays, it outperformed the Quest 3 by a factor 3:1 on Amazon US. Quest 3S launch date and strategy When will the Quest 3S be launched? So I see Holiday 2024 as the trampoline for Quest 3.

Meta is reportedly optimistic about the release of Apple Vision Pro, seeing itself as the future Android of the market. The Wall Street Journal cites "people familiar with their thinking" as saying that Meta executives believe Apple's entry into the market will "validate Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble and draw more consumers".

Another leak regarded the release date: an Amazon listing put the availability date of the Quest 3 starting from October, 10th. More info Is Apple working on the Vision Pro since 2007?
