French startup Lynx announced some months ago a quite interesting headset featuring pass-through augmented reality , hands tracking, eye tracking, and an innovative lens design. It doesn’t have controllers (you just use your hands), but you can buy external controllers by Finch to use with it. Other relevant news.

Apple glasses are coming in 2021–2022 and they are incredibly sleek. He says that Apple AR glasses will come in 2021 and that he has seen them. Unreal Engine 5 may change the rules of game development. Out of nowhere, Epic Games has teased the next version of Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine 5, due to be released in 2021.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Oculus is working on a new Oculus Quest model, and it has already done prototypes that are lighter and more powerful than the current device. In my opinion, 2021 is a better year to talk about a new Quest.

The frame of the glasses has become thicker so that the glasses now can host integrated speakers (and not earbuds) and two cameras for 6DOF tracking.
