Two days ago, I’ve given you my predictions for virtual reality in 2021 (read it, in case you missed it). 2021 is going to be an interesting year for AR. In this sense, 2021 will be a very important year, because we’ll start seeing how the mainstream is interested in wearing electronic glasses on their face.

This has been thanks to its massive growth: according to Rec Room’s Shawn Whiting, in March 2021 the total number of users was 2 million, while now they are 37. A look back at 2021. It’s the end of the year, and it’s time to look back at what has happened in 2021.

Before leaving you to the best news of the week, I would like to highlight two notable things about my work: My crazy trolling game “The Unity Cube” has been featured in a video by Upload VR! It will be released to selected partners in Q4 2021 and to the general public in Q1 2022. Chip shortages are going to continue throughout 2021.
