The main one regards the 4 devices we were waiting for this year , which in our opinion should have changed everything: Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro, Google-Samsung Headset, and PSVR 2. The Unity Beta to develop for the Vision Pro is still not available, so many devs like me can’t even play with the emulator.

In my opinion , the true error is with the Vive 1 , that will get a price that is higher than the one of all the competitors… and that will cost as much as a Samsung Odyssey, notwithstanding its far lower features. Magic Leap releases its SDK. It is so possible to start creating your Magic Leap application.

This trend will continue in 2021 : the new LiDAR sensor, which is rumored to be installed in all future iPhones, will for sure be copied also by Android phones (Samsung?) Magic Leap will meet its fate. Duck Face, Magic Leap One, and me. What about Magic Leap ?

I think that this CES is the emblem of the whole 2020, that probably won’t show big disruptions in the XR field, but will make AR and VR grow linearly, exploiting the successes of VR in 2019 (when Quest and Valve Index went sold-out). Samsung AR glasses. Ok Samsung, you have our attention. but we know zero about it.
