But for now, we are not sure at all this is going to happen.

from Razer. The result was somewhat disappointing, so Razer assisted to show me their latest model. Razer helped me out of that illusion. If words like open source, GitHub, GNU, firmware, C#, or Unity don’t mean you anything, then you better stay away from this headset and buy a Rift or Vive. Controllers.

Otherwise, contact HTC support to have your Vive fixed (good luck with that). There are anyway other tools that can help in configuring it properly. In my case, the controllers weren’t detected in any app, not even in Unity when developing for VR. To enter SteamVR Beta, open Steam and Select Library -> Tools.

But I didn’t want to switch to a 2D workflow once I imported into Unity, and so I used Virtual Desktop’s display overlay to work in Unity on a virtual big screen. I just had to press play, and the scene would appear around me and my virtual monitor.

I’m sure that after April, 20th, the Meta Quest ecosystem will appear even richer than it is now , creating a wider gap with other companies that may think about competing with the Quest, that is Pico, HTC, and even Apple. Unity talked about PlayStation VR 2 at GDC. Unity had a talk about developing for PlayStation VR 2 at GDC 2022.
