I think the three-degrees-of-freedom [3Dof] sets — like the Go and the Samsung Gear VR before it — are very well-suited for video viewing, that sort of thing.

Andrew “Boz” Bosworth, the head of Facebook Reality Labs, has written a blog post in which he revealed two very interesting pieces of news. Boz has added that he doesn’t want to overhype these devices (to avoid the same error made by Magic Leap), and so he has confirmed that they are not AR glasses, but just smartglasses.
