Apple Inc has entered talks with roughly six media partner firms to launch a virtual reality (VR) content platform for its upcoming headset, reports revealed on Monday. The partnership aims to integrate the Cupertino-based firm’s Apple TV+ product lineup on the new head-mounted displays (HMDs).

So at least the collaboration with Valve is true, but notice that it has not been on the headset, so they got no reference design from Valve, it has just been on the software integration. While HTC is struggling on the hardware side, I think that it is moving very well to create a good software ecosystem, at least in China. Learn more.
