According to a report from Business Insider , earlier this year Apple was on the verge of acquiring Leap Motion, but the deal fell through days before it was expected to close. According to the report, this is the second time in some six years that Apple had conversations with the company about an acquisition.

More information about it is coming “later this year” Project Starline , the booth to have volumetric 1-to-1 calls has been improved and optimized. And wow, there are a few pieces of information that are really cool… I’ve got to know that the development of Deckard has been a bit troubled because the headset has been re-engineered a few times. Valve is taking its usual ValveTime to make something that is ultra-polished and can put the whole community in awe.

Facebook has acquired Ctrl+Labs some years ago, and now it is using its expertise to create a wristband that can sense the motion information that your brain is sending to your hands. By intercepting these electrical signals through EMG sensors, the bracelet would be able to detect the pose of the fingers with sub-mm accuracy.

Then, The Information has reported a similar rumor, but talking about other glasses, codenamed Stella , that should be similar to Snap’s Spectacles and be released much sooner than 2023 (it could be the 1st generation of devices created by this partnership).
