Apple ARKit 3.5 It is no mystery that Apple is currently the best mobile augmented reality company, and the latest update to ARKit confirms this. I really can’t wait to see the Apple AR glasses…. update) More info (Impressive video of new AR features). Oculus Quest is available again in some countries. Very handy.

The Oculus Quest 2 is selling incredibly well because it offers the right combination of affordable price, good hardware, and a good software ecosystem. Not to mention the millions spent on marketing , especially in the US (Oculus was one of the sponsors of NBA, for instance). The Quest will still be the king. Me wearing a Valve Index.

If you look at someone like Apple, they aren’t about to put their logo on something like the current developer-focused headsets out there. And we also look at consumer software numbers as a whole.
