I mean, yes, it’s dead… I like to put on my dead Oculus Quest 2 to play dead beautiful games like InDeath: Unchained and have dead fun. At the end of 2017, VR Porn dot com published these statistics that proved that people were more interested in adult VR content than on Oculus’s official website.

The Oculus Quest was a hit. At this year’s year’s E3 conference, Facebook’s Vice President of Special Gaming Strategies Jason Rubin told audiences that the Oculus Quest was seeing “console-like” engagement from users, selling $5 million worth of content in first 2 weeks since the device started shipping back in May.

Facebook has started today enforcing the “Facebook login” rule , asking Oculus users to merge their Facebook and Oculus accounts. So I imagine a Quest 2 where you can avoid having a Facebook account, but you can’t use the Oculus Store, or all the most important apps and games , and so you are de facto forced to use it.
