It seems that this test has been a success, and so now Microsoft has won now a bigger contract to carry on the project: $21.88B (!!)

So at least the collaboration with Valve is true, but notice that it has not been on the headset, so they got no reference design from Valve, it has just been on the software integration. While HTC is struggling on the hardware side, I think that it is moving very well to create a good software ecosystem, at least in China. Learn more.
