Khronos Group , the consortium behind the OpenXR project which aims to standardize the way applications communicate with AR and VR headsets, just added Microsoft to its ranks. Among its count of members, the OpenXR working group consisted of nearly every major player in the industry except Microsoft until now.

The main one regards the 4 devices we were waiting for this year , which in our opinion should have changed everything: Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro, Google-Samsung Headset, and PSVR 2. The startup is pretty new, in fact, and its owner group is Megadodo, another unknown company that is working on an MMO game about which is difficult to find any information. Sony will give PS4 camera adapters for PS5 for free. Sony has answered this question in the weekend. First of all, no one has ever heard about Deca before.

Samsung has started putting UWB chips into their devices but they don’t have the M1 chip sitting next to these things, so Samsung is way behind and, really, who will buy an entire house full of stuff from Samsung? In front of you will be two 8K Sony chips, I hear. This is something no other company can do yet.

Samsung AR glasses. Probably the true surprise of the whole show has been Samsung, that during its press conference has teased some AR glasses. Yeah, the 3D model of the trainer seems taken from the Unity Asset Store… Samsung has not talked about the glasses, not even revealing the name, or the specifications.
