Last year, the major sports league teamed up with NextVR to capture the 2015 All-Star Game and slam-dunk contest in 360° VR video. Today, NBA Digital has once again teamed up with NextVR, announcing that they’ll be broadcasting at least one game every week during the season in VR, which tips off October 25th. There is one catch though.

Based on Intel’s True VR technology, TNT is bringing live and on-demand VR coverage of NBA All-Star events to Gear VR and Daydream headsets via the NBA on TNT VR app. The app is available today on the Oculus store and the Google Play store. 67th NBA All-Star Game , 8:20 p.m. Oklahoma City @ San Antonio , 8:00 p.m.

The NBA and TNT are launching a VR experience that is powered by Intel True VR and promises to not only bring fans even closer to the game, but serve as a portal into all available programming through on-demand VR coverage of the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend. Each camera will have at least four angles of the game that you can control.
