The NBA announced it’s expanding the number of games it’s recording for Quest headsets by a wide margin, bringing a ton of 180-degree immersive games to NBA League Pass holders. Games on Xtadium have already begun, while games on Horizon Worlds kick off November 17th. Each app has it own perks.

52 NBA games this season will be streamed in immersive 180-degrees to Quest headsets in the US for free. 0:00 / 0:13 1× NBA games in Xtadium in immersive 180° The free NBA games come by way of an ongoing multi-year partnership between Meta and the NBA, which sees Quest continue to be "the official VR headset of the NBA".

The NBA and TNT are launching a VR experience that is powered by Intel True VR and promises to not only bring fans even closer to the game, but serve as a portal into all available programming through on-demand VR coverage of the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend. Each camera will have at least four angles of the game that you can control.
