KLM’s Chris Koomen teaches us how to use AR/VR in the civil aviation sector

Participants used a wayfinding app on two VR headsets (Oculus Go with a hand controller and Samsung Gear VR), as well as on a smartphone which was the reference condition. A total of 43 persons (39 passengers and 4 cabin crew) participated in the tests in KLM’s motion base cabin simulator. No headphones were used.
