Also put a proposal to Google’s Magic Leap for what I’ve termed ‘EducationXR’. Theo and I then showcased the whole process at Dominika’s ‘My Queendom’ launch event, letting people see the build in Oculus Rift, Oculus Go and via the smartphone app. We download them as apps into all the headsets, including the Oculus Go.

Most people know Xu due to his dispute with American virtual reality company Magic Leap. In June 2019, Magic Leap accused Xu of stealing AR glasses technology when he was an engineer working at the firm. He is an Adjunct Professor/Visiting Faculty at number of institutions in Australia, Singapore & India.

The Oculus Quest was a hit. At this year’s year’s E3 conference, Facebook’s Vice President of Special Gaming Strategies Jason Rubin told audiences that the Oculus Quest was seeing “console-like” engagement from users, selling $5 million worth of content in first 2 weeks since the device started shipping back in May.
