My feed on social media is full of posts about the Apple Vision Pro, which has just been released a few days ago. So, as you can expect, a big part of this newsletter will be about Apple’s device, but actually there are also a few interesting pieces of news that regard other products and other companies.

HTC’s new headset gets leaked. HTC has been teasing its headsets for a lot of weeks by sharing images of small black corners of the upcoming device. Weekly Funding Roundup: Lightform gets $26 million, Vive X is investing in 30 startups, Facebook hiring former Apple engineer, & Sliver VR raised $16 million in VC funding. Lightform is funded by Lux , Seven Seas , the National Science Foundation , and Steven LaValle (a former principal scientist at Oculus).

And Apple also earlier this year acquired NextVR, which-- that company has all the licensing rights to real-time capture in 360 of NASCAR, and NBA, and all of the other sports. Golf, I think. everything. Just all the things.
