We had at the same time the Game Developer Conference (the GDC) and the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) by NVIDIA, so we had lots of announcements about 3D technology in general and also about XR. Of course, Epic is completely against Apple and its vision of its own walled garden. This has been quite an interesting week.

Today NVIDIA is holding its annual GTC conference, online and for free. Epson and Razer present new smartglasses. The press release talks about A WIDE 34° FOV and this makes me chuckle a bit; Razer has presented its Anzu smarglasses : priced at around 200€, they will offer audio augmentations , a bit like the discontinued Bose Frames.
