Apple has been continuously iterating on ARKit , its augmented reality development tool that lets creators make smartphone-based AR experiences. The company unveiled ARKit at its World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) in 2017, and the 2.0 version at the dev conference a year later.

Leap Motion. You may ask why I’m adding Leap Motion here. Well, during 2018, Leap Motion has announced the North Star reference design : a cheap augmented reality connected to PC, that is able to detect your hands very well thanks to Leap Motion’s sensor.

You will be able to attend the conference for free inside Venues or on the Facebook page of Facebook Reality Labs. Boz has explained that the conference won’t be only about Oculus (whatever this name means now), but it will also be about SparkAR, Portal, and all the other innovative projects by Facebook. Apple acquires startup SPACES.
