Amazon has basically sent many brick and mortar traditions out to the retirement home. Due to the pushes by Amazon, even ancient traditions like going to the store on Black Friday have gone the way of Denver the Last Dinosaur. Recently they have even jumped into brick and mortar by acquiring Whole Foods.

It looks like Magic Leap is holding a barn burner of a sale on its first AR headset, Magic Leap 1, as the one-time $2,300 device can now be had for $550. Atari will soon be opening hotels in the United States that feature what they call “the latest in VR and AR.” Additional hotels planned in Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, and San Jose.
