We have no clue of when it will be released, but if you remember, last week Youtuber Eric For President revealed that some sources of his talk about a September reveal for the “VR hardware we want” from Facebook. It seems that so the Quest 2 Pro will be at least unveiled during the next Facebook Connect , for a potential launch in 2022.

2022 could be the key year for XR. 2022-2023 are the years when VR should grow a lot (Image by Road To VR). 2022 may be the key year when they actually buy it, also thanks to Apple , an d finally, the market will reach the magic number of 10 million devices. Why can’t it be Facebook, or Magic Leap ?

My bet is that Apple will tease its glasses in 2021 and maybe launch them in 2022, or for holidays 2021 (it is just a speculation though, Apple never said it was going to release smartglasses). Magic Leap will meet its fate. Duck Face, Magic Leap One, and me. What about Magic Leap ?
