At E3 2016 I got to see the latest prototype version of Gloveone, a haptic motion input glove designed for virtual reality. But that first version of the glove required a third-party tracking system like Leap Motion in order to translate the movement of the user’s hands into virtual reality.

Production stages of Dexmo gloves: Idea was conceived in 2014, the working prototype was realized in 2016, the product was ready in late 2017 and the shipping is ready now in 2019. Theoretically they could work also via Bluetooth, but Bluetooth communication would add extra latency to the haptics system.
