Sensics and Razer launched OSVR 18 months ago with the intent of democratizing VR. Acer, NVIDIA, Valve, Ubisoft, Leap Motion and many others joined the ecosystem. Augmented reality tools detect objects in video feeds. For example, DAQRI integrated a plugin that detects objects in a video stream.
