It’s no secret that Microsoft’s mixed reality strategy is centered around its Intelligent Cloud, and the Intelligent Edge; therefore the HoloLens team has worked very closely with Azure to bring it all together in one sleek package. In other words, down with the “walled garden” approach favored by companies such as Apple and Oculus.
