Two weeks ago, I had a fantastic trip to Taiwan together with my Chinese assistant Miss S. I had the pleasure of participating to the “VR Visionaries” event in Kaohsiung and then I headed to Taipei to meet some XR companies (like HTC ) and people. Are you ready for immersing into Taiwan? I loved both Kaohsiung and Taipei.

A piece of unexpected news has shaken the XR communities this week: according to a report on Digitimes Taiwan, Apple has abandoned its AR/VR glasses project and all the members of the team have been re-allocated in other teams. In all of this, someone has created the design for a Leap Motion mount for the Index that exploits the frunk.

In an interview with a Chinese magazine, HTC China (Mister) President Alvin Graylin has stated that in his opinion, Facebook may lose at least $100-$200 for each sold Oculus Quest 2 device. HTC had $210 million as the total revenue for 2020. Facebook may be losing at least $100 for every sold Quest 2.
