Magic Leap has announced on Tuesday the release window for its sophomore augmented reality (AR) headset. The firm is making the Magic Leap 2 product commercially available on September 30 this year. Magic Leap will also debut the device in Japan and Singapore later this year.

In April of last year Abovitz landed himself on the cover of Wired magazine with what was dubbed the Magic Leap “photonic chip.”
