The report talks about Samsung wanting to target the $1000–2000 range, which in my opinion risks being neither expensive nor affordable.

Unreal Engine is not exactly the most friendly game engine when it comes to Android development, and that’s why Oculus has just released some facilities to help UE4 developers in iterating Oculus Quest applications faster. According to Samsung, it should come in 2028. Not a great evolution from Microsoft. 6G is coming to 2028–2030.

Qualcomm has officially said that this is the chipset that the upcoming Samsung headset is going to employ. But there is not only Samsung: XR2 Gen 2 is going to be integrated also by Immersed’s Visor, a new HTC Vive headset, a YVR headset in China, and a headset that is still undisclosed.
