About 11 years ago I was standing outside in the snow in Munich, Germany with the CTO of a small company, Metaio. Apple later bought his company. I created the first augmented reality app on Apple’s store on this blog. Tonight I was talking to an employee at Samsung about its appliances and how they would augment them.

They’ve already got, you know, in your Apple phone, RF detection is already built in. Of course, anybody who has a warehouse can be hugely benefited, because you take the functionality of that pad, the barcode, the RF gun, and you put it all in a head-mounted display.
