We don’t know who originated the leak… but honestly, considering the perfect timing to generate hype for Facebook Connect, and the fact that it just shows a bit without showing too much… well, I have some suspects… (Do you remember the “leak” about Quest 2 some days before Facebook Connect 1 and timely before Apple Event?

The leak came from China and talked about the Pico 5 product line going to feature the Pico 5, Pico 5 Pro, and Pico 5 Pro Max (yes, like the iPhones). At the end of the day, I understand that Unity needs to monetize more because the economic conditions are s**t and Apple is killing its Unity Ads cash cow with its privacy shield.

I have to say it also reminds me a bit of the pancake headset just announced by Skyworth , but this doesn’t surprise me much, because in China many headsets have similarities because they are all made by Goertek, in the end. Availability in China will be announced in the dedicated event on September, 27th, as I was telling you before.
