Apple threatens future support in Unreal Engine. On Reddit, the news has had an insane amount of upvotes (more than 10K) with all negative comments. The same on Twitter.

No grey zones like HTC did in the past. Unity should anyway be the first engine partner, something that doesn’t surprise me considering the litigation between Apple and Epic Games, the company behind Unreal Engine. But there is not only Samsung: XR2 Gen 2 is going to be integrated also by Immersed’s Visor, a new HTC Vive headset, a YVR headset in China, and a headset that is still undisclosed. UEVR is a universal VR mod, and it lets everyone easily convert every Unreal Engine-based PC game (including the AAA ones) into a VR experience.

It is a big showcase demo for its Unreal Engine 5, and I have to say it is pretty impressive. Business-oriented magazines are talking about the metaverse as a MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR OPPORTUNITY (caps required to underline the bullsh*tting happening around) and so many people are coming to exploit this opportunity. It is very cool.

Quest 2 recalled from Amazon EU for skin irritation issue. The mystery of the Quest 2 disappeared from Amazon EU websites has been solved: the materials on the Quest 2 facemask caused irritations of the skin to a very little percentage of people , and so the sales have been suspended. HTC had $210 million as the total revenue for 2020.

The facial interface TACTAL made my HTC Vive more heavy on the front , and being quite thick and rigid, also made the headset slightly more uncomfortable and reduced my field of view. My HTC Vive with installed in the TACTAL facemask. Pray for my life… PC (HTC Vive). TACTOSY bracelet installed on my arm. Oh, they shot me!

HTC has actually released that for the Vive Focus Plus … Well, according to the god John Carmack , it is something about which the company has discussed a lot and has also experimented a lot. Almost no magazine reported this news, that in my opinion was one of the most powerful of the whole OC6. Why not wireless? Well, ZERO.
