If it keeps this pace, it could go beyond the 10M mark in 2022. Google makes Tilt Brush opensource. Google has just announced that the VR painting program Tilt Brush has been put opensource on GitHub. The bad news is that this means that Google has abandoned it. This is both bad and good news.

The price for this beast starts at $2400, with a release date in Q4 2022. Google is still into XR. Even if Google is quite silent about AR and VR lately , the company is still into immersive technologies. Ultraleap (formerly Leap Motion) has just released the fifth version of its hands-tracking engine.

I’ve used Google search to find all the pages with references to Del Mar in the Oculus website, and all the docs are identical to the previous versions. I think that we’ll have more info at OC7, with maybe a launch in 2021/2022. Google will delay the release of Chrome 81 , the one that should have included WebAR.
