As always in January I like to play the speculation game and make my personal predictions for augmented and virtual reality for the new year (2022, in this case). This is still the situation in this first part of 2022. I think that in a good part of 2022 we will just see the VR market growing because of the huge growth of the Quest 2.

He was able to test an AR system by Red6, a company that aims at making Army pilot train themselves with dogfighting and other similar operations using AR opponents instead of real ones. This trend will continue in 2021 : the new LiDAR sensor, which is rumored to be installed in all future iPhones, will for sure be copied also by Android phones (Samsung?) And the most requested systems will be about maintenance, remote assistance, training, and prototyping. Do you know what else people find boring in the AR ecosystem?
