Otherwise, now the situation is more or less like before, with the exception of some places where there are still some Oculus devices in stock (for instance in Japan and Taiwan). The VR route is instead being pursued by HTC (with its VEC event happening soon) and IEEE. Who knows…. Very good news for all us Unity VR developers.

In an interview with a Chinese magazine, HTC China (Mister) President Alvin Graylin has stated that in his opinion, Facebook may lose at least $100-$200 for each sold Oculus Quest 2 device. HTC had $210 million as the total revenue for 2020. Epic Games has sued Nreal because its name is too close to “Unreal”, which is its trademark.
