There are quite a handful of platforms that allow you to develop virtual reality and augmented reality apps and content, but it is not easy to find an offline virtual reality school or academy with which to train for those interested in developing AR and VR apps. I tried to enroll on this one and it feels easy to sign up and undertake.

But over the past couple of months some virtual reality meetup, event and training spaces have reported huge earnings from sale of virtual land during coronavirus pandemic, and Second Life, once thought to be the fore-runner of the virtual metaverse, has run out of land due to high demand. We will update the story if they get back to us.
