Pimax has announced that both eye and hand tracking modules, both of which were included as stretch goals in its original 2017 Pimax “8K” headset Kickstarter, are shipping out to backers soon. “Backers will be able to get the eye tracking for $99 for a limited time,” the spokesperson says.

The sentence with which they have started the tease is “Big things are in motion here at Ultraleap”, which makes me think about something big that moves… may it be a new device to perform body tracking? The console is now available for purchase at the most popular online and offline retailers.

Retailing for nearly £5,000 GBP (more than Magic Leap One or an HTC Vive Pro Eye) Manus Prime Haptic offers full finger tracking thanks to Flexpoint’s Bend Sensors as well as individual haptics for each finger and thumb.
