This has been the week when the preorders of the Apple Vision Pro have been opened and s**t just started getting real! I’m very curious about what Apple’s headset is going to bring to our ecosystem… and you? Of course, some people from all over the world made some tricks to buy it anyway.

Alas, there is no word yet on when we non-Americans will be able to order this device, although at least one VR YouTuber, Brian Tong, has heard (via his unofficial, internal sources) that Apple is planning to expand access to the U.K. Apple has announced in a Feb.

Meta plans to fight Apple thanks to the help of LG, a company that has deep expertise in manufacturing hardware and displays. Talking about the optics system of the Vision Pro, there are still many unknowns about the ZEISS prescription lenses associated with the device. Happy Birthday, Tom!

I’m not there (I’ve still never been to CES…), but as usual I will follow the news and report it on this blog, so stay tuned! And Mark was right: today, totally out of the blue, Apple finally announced when people will be able to get a Vision Pro. both on physical and online Apple Stores, starting from February, 2nd.
