The reason why I think that this news is super-important is two-sided: On one side, it means that a platform with 50M of daily users is coming into virtual reality. Engage is one of the most appreciated virtual reality professional social ecosystems, and it is used a lot for enterprise meetings and presentations and for university lessons.

Reading better the article, I got that Apple is not interested in building a social VR world , because it doesn’t believe in the fact that people will spend hours a day inside an escapist VR space. Apple wants to be a huge player of the Metaverse, it is just not interested, like at all, in a social VR space.
