After logging back in, it is time to connect the Vive headset by plugging its HDMI video cable into one of the HDMI ports on the back of your graphics card. Hz in the un-grepped xrandr output, see Figure 3), and note down their outputs, in my case DP-1 and HDMI-0 for the main display and the Vive, respectively.
