I think the three-degrees-of-freedom [3Dof] sets -- like the Go and the Samsung Gear VR before it -- are very well-suited for video viewing, that sort of thing. A friend of mine, James, he went in a virtual reality crane training simulator, spent an hour in it. Then they took him outside, put him on a real crane. Which is crazy.
