I’ve just had my first day in Nanchang, China. I’m here to attend the WCVRI , a very big event about Virtual Reality in China, where I am exhibiting HitMotion: Reloaded , the mixed reality fitness game of my agency New Technology Walkers ( contact us if you need some VR development!). Is it really important? And… how is Nanchang?

Yesterday for the first time I have attended the Vive Ecosystem Conference in Shenzhen, China! Honestly, I find it a smart idea for this moment, but I also think that HTC has to invest more to have more content on Viveport on the long term if it plans to fight with Oculus and its upcoming Quest. Me at VEC 2019. Only white color.

Leap Motion. You may ask why I’m adding Leap Motion here. Well, during 2018, Leap Motion has announced the North Star reference design : a cheap augmented reality connected to PC, that is able to detect your hands very well thanks to Leap Motion’s sensor.

No smearing, reduced mura; The lenses have been upgraded, using the ones engineered by Valve for the Index; The audio is conveyed through off-the-ear speakers , like the ones of the Valve Index; Comfort has been improved; There is IPD adjustment; There are now 4 tracking cameras. Oculus Link 2 could be tetherless.

As we were all expecting (also thanks to the amazing speculations of the Best Buy guys on Reddit :D), Oculus has launched both the Oculus Quest and the Rift S during the keynote of the F8 event , that happened at 10AM PT.
