Once cars start driving without a human in the car, something that GM’s Cruise, Waymo (spun out of Google), and others are already doing in San Francisco, California and Phoenix, Arizona, then the car can bring other robots AND let the robots be shared among a number of different houses, which defrays their cost. Some people have stairs.
