Turns out Next VR isn’t live streaming every sport under the sun in VR; the upcoming X Games will be broadcast by Samsung itself. Live streaming events like this in 360 isn’t anything new, but with Samsung’s live pass we’re hoping that the X Games in Minneapolis will be an event to remember.

Music streaming service Rhapsody is jumping into the VR game with their first VR app – Rhapsody VR. Rhapsody VR is available on iOS and Android to view in your Google Cardboard viewer, dropping you onstage with artists for live 360-degree concert experiences. The VR music app will bring you right on stage with the band.

VR Live Pass, Samsung’s 360-degree video livestream partnership for Gear VR, continues in July with live coverage of the X Games Minneapolis. After the X Games, a music concert with an “international artist” promoted by Live Nation will be streamed in August from the USA, although details are yet to be confirmed.
