The demonstration included the now familar Unreal Engine 3 powered citadel area, one which would become the setting for one of the most famous early VR applications of all time, Rift Coaster. Throughout 2015, the Rift’s biggest competitor, the HTC Vive had made phenomenal gains in public awareness and word-of-mouth PR.
